My Friends,

Thank you for taking time to visit the campaign website and inquiring about my candidacy to be your State Representative.

My message is simple, it’s People before Politics.  My belief is that our elected officials should represent the views and the voices of the citizens they represent, not their colleagues in Nashville, who are representing citizens in other parts of Tennessee.

Nashville will never tell me how to represent you, I will let you do that!

During the campaign, we will be coming to your community to hold town hall meetings. It is important for your representatives to come to you, instead of waiting for you to come to them.

Your State Representative needs to know the goals of each county but more importantly he needs to know the goals for each community in each county.  The community of Fairfield Glade may have different concerns than Tansi, who may have different concerns than Nine Mile, and so on.

When I am elected with your support, I will to continue to come into your community to hold town hall meetings, because I believe it is insincere for elected officials to only come around during election years.

That is how our founding fathers intended for the citizens to be represented.  The constitution states “We the People”, not “I, the Person.”  Some of our elected officials just don’t understand that concept.  They believe that you will forget about their actions and thus they will not be held accountable.

The time has come for us to start electing people who understand the sacrifices that were made by our veterans to protect our rights like free speech, freedom of religion, right to assemble, and our right to vote.

The voters of the 25th District should know that I will put People before Politics!

Sincerely,

1
